An Overview of Air Traffic and Effective Air Traffic Control Strategies for Istanbul Airport

This study addresses the significant changes in air transportation for Turkey with opening of Istanbul Airport and investigates advantages disadvantages brought about by new airport. Previously; providing a service Istanbul, Atatürk had limited capacity terms resulting mostly ineffective use time resources. Thus; this points out how İstanbul solves problems experienced previously expectations being solid contender today’s modern aviation. In paper, brief explanation aviation reached its current place is given numerical data are provided to further clarify enormous growth civil both globally. Subsequently, role Turkish has been explained depth. light information, strengths weaknesses identified first, then opportunities presented (SWOT analysis) specifically Airport. final part importance applications through systems evaluated briefly better understand it positively effects companies, traffic control units shapes future systems. We believe that analysis four sub-sections will give us clear understanding pros cons Considering those assumptions taking relevant actions be easier make optimum whole system airport compete other rivals industry.
